Sartomer's N3XTDIMENSION Announces New Engineered Resins For 3D Printing
Sartomer's N3xtDimensionTM line of photo-cure 3D printing materials enable thermoplastic-like mechanical properties that help additive manufacturers yield ultra-high-definition products for a wide range of industrial applications.
Impact Resistance: N3D-I250 is a polycarbonate-based urethane acrylate specifically designed with a particular modulus range for improved mechanical durability. Its polycarbonate backbone enables rigidity, while an increased molecular weight allows low volumetric shrinkage and thermoplastic-like material trends. It is used in the 3D printing of prototypes, snap-fit parts, dental models, functional parts, coatings and BPA-Free applications.
Impact Resistance: PRO13471 is a tailored, engineered resin blend featuring block copolymer technology that is designed to create a fully integrated polymeric network with soft rubbery domains. It imparts low viscosity, high durability and low odor. Its benefits include reducing microcracking and low shrinkage. Applications include 3D printing, functional prototyping 3D printing and impact resistant coatings.
Elastomeric Recovery: N3D-E180 is a urethane acrylate engineered resin designed for high elastomeric recovery with low to moderate hardness. With high molecular weight design, this oligomer exhibits thermoplastic polyurethane-like properties with proper diluency. Applications include 3D printed elastomers, stereolithography and digital light processing, soft materials, soft touch and high flex coatings and adhesives.
Flexibility: N3D-F230 is a chain extended urethane acrylate specifically designed to snap back in place when formulated into a polyethylene or polypropylene-like material. Its unique features include formulating flexibility and pourability, making it easy to work with. Applications include 3D printed prototypes, dental models, snap-fit parts and functional parts.
Prototyping: N3D-P220 is a urethane acrylate engineered resin designed for durability and robust mechanical performance. With proper diluency, this resin features low molecular weight urethane dimethacrylate tailorable to a range of light engine 3D printers. It extends part life of prototyping parts and is easy to handle for users with limited chemistry knowledge that need to formulate basic prototyping resins.
